Fascinating read. I’m curious as to whether you are commenting solely on anthropogenic climate change, or have the referenced studies also included the effects of air pollution, water pollution, etc.? Is it possible that global output could be impacted enough by other environmental issues as to cause shrinkage in global output?
I’m also interested in the concept of green GDP as a potentially more relevant economic indicator. It appears promising to me as a layperson, but is it actually possible for economists to quantify environmental degradation and subtract it from the global output? If so, is there some other reason why I don’t hear of it being used often in the media?
